The County Administrator is appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Primary responsibility is to carry out the policies adopted by the Board of Supervisors.

Supervises other divisions of county government.

Prepares the budget for consideration by the Board of Supervisors.

Advises the board on federal and state assistance for the county.

Meets regularly with the Board of Supervisors.
The Administrative Staff is made up of the County Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Comptroller, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing and Human Resources. The administrative staff supports the County Administrator and the Board of Supervisors.
They are responsible for:

Taking and researching citizens’ complaints.

Creating and maintaining Board of Supervisor’s agenda.

Attending the Board of Supervisors meetings.

Assisting the County Administrator with the day-to-day operations of the county.
The County Administrator's office generates the Board of Supervisor's Agenda, a detailed list of the items to be discussed in a Board Meeting. These meetings are open to the public. Citizens with issues that are needed to be addressed by the board are asked to contact the County Administrator office at (662)363-1465.
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.
